I am planning on taking a quarter off this year, and I had already told myself that although I will not be the 'formal' courseroom, I still would need to be involved with my education by reading, researching, and writing regularly to stay in tune. Reading this only confirms what I was telling myself and thanks for the added information of looking at a dissertation on iGuide and asking myself what I would do differently on the next quarter.
