Author: Jennifer Williams
Jennifer is a Career Counselor in the Career Center at Capella University. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Minnesota. After completing her master's program, she began working in career services, first with a welfare-to-work program and then as a job coach for employed persons with disabilities. Looking to put her coaching and counseling skills to use in higher education, Jennifer came to Capella in June 2008 as an Undergraduate Academic Advisor, and made the transition to the Career Center in April 2009. She draws on her previous career counseling and job coaching experience to counsel Capella learners on all aspects of career management. In her role in the Career Center, Jennifer supports undergraduate learners and alumni. Jennifer is a member of the Minnesota Career Development Association.
