		<description>There has long been a discussion about the responsibility of ISPs in protecting users from themselves.  I am a fan of personal responsibility. I also think that those of us who really do understand the issues and risks can help by taking our less educated friends and family under our wings and helping them to practice safe computing :)</description>

		<description>I believe that we as security professionals can address the botnet issue in two ways:

1) We need to band together to push legislation that will actually incarcerate those individuals responsible. Current laws do not take into account many areas where security is compromised and this would be one way of educating those who make the laws.

2) Education for the masses is always an option when discussing how we handle security concerns. If we can only make people aware of signs to look for when there computer has been compromised.</description>
