Capella learners are eligible for the annual Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Scholarship Program because Capella is part of a select group of institutions to earn the Center for Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education (CAEIAE) designation from the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security.

I am a counselor at Willow Oaks Treatment Facility. Counseling privides an opportunity for me to fight for the freedom of some of our most challenged citizens. Addiction affect all areas of clients lives and robs the of the hope and fortitude to pursue their dreams.
The spiritual principleles that provide the daily reprive from addiction will provide a foundation for truly positive and productive lives. A chain is only as strong as it’s weakest link. Addiction is a weak link in the chain that holds our country together. It tears families apart. It ruins businesses and motivates people to violate their beliefs on a regular basis.
Recovery builds hope, gives proof and is the vehicle that many have used to forge new lives. People mend broken relationships. This is the foundation of a nation.
