Knowing Uncle Sam, they have been using the cloud for many moons prior to this article. I do not see a problem with our FED GOV going cloud. They have many security measures in place such as PKI, VPN, CAC access, on top of 802.1x, EAPOL and Quantum Crypto to name several. Plus segmented networks? I for one am not ‘too’ worried. Botnets, TPM, TC and application layer security is another ball of wax.
