Meet Theresa Rich

Theresa Rich receives her doctorate from Capella University in 2008. Her dissertation is titled Becoming the Boss Whisperer: An Examination of the Relationship between Employee Follower Behaviors and Supervisor Satisfaction with Employee Performance. Theresa is a Change Management consultant at General Motors, specializing in team effectiveness and executive development in cross-regional/global settings. She is the founder of Acorn Consulting & Training, LLC, and holds advanced degrees in business and law: M.B.A., LL.M. (Taxation) and Juris Doctor. Her research interest is in followers dynamics, with a focus on employee/supervisor relationships. She lives in Farmington Hills, Michigan, with her husband Brian and children, Zachary and Alyson.

    Theresa, there you are! How wonderful to see your work progressing so beautifully. I think the idea of Followership is important and certainly can enhance the employee/supervisor conversation. I look forward to your work as defining these competencies will enhance talent management, too.
