International Society for Performance Improvement at Capella
A group of learners has formally organized a virtual ISPI Capella University Chapter, with Rose Noxon as the President. Faculty, learners, and alumni are welcome to join and participate.
“The International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) is the leading international association dedicated to improving productivity and performance in the workplace.” ISPI represents members from the US, Canada and 40 other countries across the globe.
The Capella chapter has been organizing the past few months and plans to kick off the chapter on iGuide on Oct 6th. The Capella chapter’s mission is to amplify and complement the learning and practice of Human Performance Improvement (HPI). This is accomplished through innovative programs which strive to successfully enhance learning, research and professional pursuits in a virtual setting.
The first activities will include programs that look to bank HPI projects that learners can use for course projects and papers. Future programs will include survey facilitation for learners to use in course projects, presenting, speaking and publishing of course papers and dissertations, HPI related research, and workbench areas for Capella mentors and mentees. ISPI news will be posted on Organizational Perspectives.
For more information, click here or go to Capella Communities on iGuide and apply for membership. Currently, there are no membership fees and you do not have to be a member of the ISPI association to participate.
