Dissertation Writer’s Retreats
The dissertation process is intense and difficult. It presents many issues, including finding the time to write, tackling complex research, and getting writing feedback.
Capella University is now offering Dissertation Writer’s Retreats to help doctoral students make significant progress in a short amount of time—even those from institutions other than Capella.
In addition to one-one work with Writing Program faculty, students consult with librarians, IRB specialists and methodologists knowledgeble about quantitative and qualitative research.
The retreats are for doctoral students writing dissertations in the fields of education, business, psychology, human services, public safety, information technology, or any other social science.

Wow, this looks great! I never thought about it, but I can see tremendous value. For me, it will be a 2011-2012 retreat.

This Retreat looks interesting. Can graduate students from other schools attend? What can students expect?
