The Career Center is offering a series of webinars in Fall Quarter to share job search and career advice in challenging economic times. The following topics will be presented at various times throughout the quarter:
• Job Search Strategies in a Tough Economy
• Teaching in Higher Education
• Online Social Networking
• Job Search Strategies for the Mature Worker
• Professional Portfolios: New! In this webinar, you will gain an understanding of the purpose of a professional portfolio, be able to identify the components of an effective portfolio, and learn how to present your portfolio in various professional situations, including job interviews and career discussions. At the end of this webinar, you will know how to develop your own portfolio and understand how to use it effectively to market yourself in the job search.
