LYRASIS eBook Expo Panel: Best Practices, Transition to eBooks

Have you thought about expanding your library collection to include electronic books? A panel discussion on e-books will be taking place at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, Lyrasis Conference, and will be available virtually. Current topics on digital books will be discussed, including best practices from libraries just being their electronic collections, to examples from universities with large e-book holdings.

Digital rights management, preservation options, functionality, licenses, and marketing electronic resources will also be discussedsed with librarian and publisher panelists. Interaction from online participants, via microphone or typing questions, is encouraged and there will be a question and answer session at the end of the panel.
