
Become a Certified Project Management Professional – CaPM, PMP
In these hard economic times people need to differentiate themselves from others who are applying for the same job position. Having a well-written resume is one way of staying in the “consideration” pile of job applicants. Also, having experience in the field is usually another criterion in an employer’s search for a new employee. Another way to stand out from the crowd of job applicants is to be certified in the profession.
There are two certifications that I would recommend for a project manager. The Certified Associate in Project Management (CaPM®) and the Project Management Professional (PMP®) both offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
