PMI – GAC accredited. The Project Management Institute (PMI) Global Accreditation Center for Project Management (GAC) has accredited two Capella University degree programs: the MS in Information Technology with a specialization in Project Management, and the BS in Information Technology with a specialization in Project Management.

Join A PMI Specific Interest Group or Virtual Community

Check out the listing of local PMI specific Interest Groups (SIG) and Virtual Communities at the main PMI website.

Click the “Get Involved” tab and then the Components and Communities link on the left side of the subsequent page. From the menu list, choose PMI Specific Interest Groups and then the group that interests you. The website will display contact information and a website address for further information.

The Specific Interest Groups grew out of the PMI Symposiums (now called Congresses) where specific tracks were presented on the knowledge areas of the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMbok®, Risk, Quality, Communications etc.) There were also industries represented as well (Aerospace, Information Systems, Financials etc.).
